Lately the quarantine has brought a new meaning to "Netflix and Chill" and the great thing about Netflix is their LGBTQ+ genre. Whether you are by yourself or with your partner, it's so important to have some down time. We have to admit we are a sucker for some sappy endings and lesbian scenes, in all honestly it feels relatable and authentic to when we were younger and just coming out. Below Her Mouth is NOT PG so be mindful of that when you watch this one. Don't expect an elaborate story line, but the cinematography is on fire. This is about an engaged fashion editor who gets wound up in a passionate love affair with a woman. This movie is raw and passionate and we found ourselves always watching it on repeat when it first came out.
2. Blue is the Warmest Color

This film felt super relatable to our first lesbian relationships. This Is about a 15 year old girl experiencing her first real love with another girl at her school. You watch their journey unravel as they experience adulthood.
3. The Half of It

We fell in love with this movie. This film is one of the newer teen lesbian romances that may seem a bit corny and in the Gen Z era but just makes you smile. We love this one because it fights off the stereotypes and it feels nice to see a teen drama focusing on queer love and friendship.
4. A Secret Love

Get ready to grab your tissues. This is actually a documentary but this one melts our heart. A Secret Love tells the story of a 65+ year love story between two women that captured each other's hearts in the 1940's and had to keep their love a secret.
5. The Feels

This lesbian movie gives us some comic relief and is about a lesbian who goes to a bachelorette party with her friends and finds out one of the girls has never experienced an orgasm.
